Preferred embodiments enable cell phone users to plug in a novel SIM card (34) and receive a multimedia broadcast of their choice, television, celebrity broadcast calls, newspapers, games, video and the like, without initializing with a service provider. Adapters can provide additional cell phone communication channels enabling a user to talk on the phone while receiving a broadcast into storage or to quickly receive a broadcast over multiple channels (3, 4, 5, 6, 7). Cell phone TV flicker can be inhibited by receiving over multiple channels (3, 4, 5, 6, 7). Each channel can be controlled or activated by its own SIM card (34). Novel product-specific SIM cards are provided to enable reception of specific broadcasts.
En mode de réalisation préféré, l'invention concerne l'utilisation pour la téléphonie cellulaire d'une carte SIM permettant la réception multimédia, selon le service choisi (télévision, kiosques d'informations téléphoniques liées à des personnalités, journaux, jeux, vidéo, etc.), sans initialisation auprès d'un prestataire de services. Des adaptateurs fournissent un certain nombre de canaux supplémentaires en téléphonie cellulaire, et l'utilisateur peut parler sur son téléphone tout en recevant un programme de diffusion destiné à être stocké, ou bien il peut recevoir un programme de diffusion sur plusieurs canaux. Il est possible d'éviter le phénomène de scintillement, en télévision sur téléphonie cellulaire, par une réception sur plusieurs canaux. Chaque canal peut être contrôlé ou activé au moyen d'une carte SIM propre. La carte SIM décrite dans l'invention assure la réception de programmes de diffusion spécifiques.
