The invention relates to a multimedia communication terminal (10) with a desk- shaped housing (12) and a hollow groove which is designed to receive a fully cylindrical or partially cylindrical form (22) and is located above a visual display unit (16). Said form (22) consists of a partial central form (26) which is fitted with a built-in video camera and provided with at least one protuberance (28;30) with a support (42) for a telephone handset (44) or an additional built-in card reader for telephone cards.

Dans ce terminal, une moulure creuse (20) conçue pour recevoir un corps entièrement ou partiellement cylindrique (22) est ménagée au-dessus d'un appareil de visualisation (16). Ce corps (22) comprend un corps partiel central (26), dans lequel est incorporée une caméra vidéo, et au moins une partie saillante (28; 30) sur laquelle est formé un support (42) pour un combiné téléphonique (44), ou dans laquelle est incorporé, en outre, un lecteur de cartes de téléphone.
