A method for playing a multiplayer online game with a handset and a multiplayer game stored on a server. The server comprises (N) user profiles including the (i)th user profile comprising the (i)th game status and the (i)th digital signature assigned to the (i)th user, wherein the (i)th user is one of the (N) users. The method establishes a communication link between the handset and the server, such that the (i)th user can play the multiplayer game, using the handset and the (i)th game status, with one or more other users in communication with the server. The method downloads to the handset the game software and the (i)th user profile comprising the (i)th game status and the (i)th digital signature, before discontinuing the communication link between the handset and the server.
L'invention porte sur un procédé qui permet de jouer à un jeu de pari en ligne à plusieurs joueurs avec un combiné et un jeu de pari à plusieurs joueurs stocké sur un serveur. Le serveur comprend (N) profils utilisateur, parmi lesquels un (i)ème profil utilisateur comporte un (i)ème état de jeu et une (i)ème signature numérique attribuée au (i)ème utilisateur, le (i)ème utilisateur étant l'un des (N) utilisateurs. Selon le procédé de l'invention, une liaison de communication est établie entre le combiné et le serveur, de sorte que le (i)ème utilisateur peut jouer au jeu à plusieurs joueurs en utilisant le combiné et le (i)ème état de jeu, avec un ou plusieurs autres utilisateurs en communication avec le serveur. Le procédé précité permet de télécharger vers le combiné le logiciel de jeu et le (i)ème profil utilisateur comprenant le (i)ème état de jeu et la (i)ème signature numérique, avant d'interrompre la liaison de communication entre le combiné et le serveur.
