A cooling system for a compact vehicle such as a compact loader (10) having an engine (18) and an engine compartment (16), includes a single axial flow fan (46) that is surrounded by a shroud (40) and has a high pressure side (44) and a low pressure side (42). Air flow generated by the fan (46) is used for cooling components (58, 60) of the compact vehicle (10) and exhausting heated air from a second shroud. Auxiliary openings (82) are provided between the engine compartment and the shrouds to provide air flow between the engine compartment (16) and one or both of the shrouds (40, 62) when the fan (46) is rotating. The motor (52) driving the fan (46) is reversible.

La présente invention concerne un système de refroidissement pour un véhicule compact tel qu'un chargeur compact (10) présentant un moteur (18) et un compartiment moteur (16).
