ABSTRACT It is provided a multiple-compartment plastic package for liquid and solid goods having a joint between the compartments consisting of at least two polymeric foils one of which ruptures internally along the longitudinal axis, without rupturing the outer walls of the package, when an external pressure is exerted on one of the compartments. The package of the invention allows several incompatible substances to be stored separately in different compartments, while enabling their mixing immediately before use by rupture of the inner section of the seal joining the compartments between them. The package of the invention allows also the manufacture of novel advantageous air-freshener devices.
