An apparatus for supporting a preform (8) is provided. The apparatus comprises a shaft (10) defining a groove (14). A deformable element (16) is arranged in the groove. A split ring (20) having at least two pieces is provided. Each of the pieces has an inner surface facing the deformable member and an outer surface (22). At least one of the pieces has a protrusion extending from its inner surface. The protrusion is arranged adjacent to the deformable element and the split ring being moveable in a radial direction whereby the protrusion causes the deformable element to be compressed in the groove.
L'invention porte sur un appareil destiné à supporter une préforme, cet appareil comprenant un arbre formant une rainure. Un élément déformable est disposé dans la rainure. L'invention porte également sur une bague fendue constituée d'au moins deux morceaux. Chacun des morceaux comporte une surface interne opposée à l'élément déformable et une surface externe. Au moins un des morceaux comporte une partie saillante émergeant de sa surface interne. La partie saillante est disposée adjacente à l'élément déformable et la bague fendue est amovible dans un sens radial et comprime ainsi l'élément déformable dans la rainure.
