078280-LC MULTIPLE FLUID HEAT EXCHANGER Abstract A multiple fluid heat exchanger (10) having a unitary construction and formed of a stack of dished plates (16,33) to form at least two fluid passages (12,14 and 15) within the heat exchange elements formed by the plates and passages (27) for a third fluid formed between at least some of the elements. The stack of plates (16,33) are adapted to be simultaneously bonded together by a brazing or soldering operation, with the stack including at least one set of dished plates (33,33) joined at their peripheries to form first (14) and second (15) fluid passages in a first set heat exchange elements (13), with the third fluid passages (12) being formed in a second set of heat exchange elements (11). One set of heat exchange elements (11) may have spaced fluid passages (27) with corrugated heat exchange fins (28) between the fluid passages to provide transverse passages for a cooling fluid, such as air. Additional arrangements of the sets of elements may be utilized for a fourth and/or fifth fluid.
