A frame tent having a perimeter frame, a flexible canopy attached to the perimeter frame, corner posts to support the perimeter frame at corners thereof, a central cable having free ends removably connectable to each other, a plurality of perimeter cables couplable to the central cable at one end and to an associated one of the corners at another end and a plurality of flying poles connectable at one end to the central cable and at another end to an interior surface of the canopy, wherein upon pulling together ends of the centre cable and connecting them together, the canopy and the perimeter and centre cables become tensioned.
