A multiple function cross-head for an elevator is horizontally disposed at the upper ends of two vertical stiles that form an elevator car frame. The cross- head supports a door header, door hanger assembly, door operator assembly, and a cross-beam. The cross-beam supports a sheave assembly which engages a rope in an elevator system to raise and lower the elevator car in a shaftway.

L'invention porte sur une traverse multifonction d'un ascenseur qui est placée horizontalement au niveau des extrémités supérieures de deux montants verticaux qui forment la structure d'une cabine d'ascenseur. La traverse supporte un linteau de porte, un ensemble de guidage de porte, un ensemble de fermeture de porte et une poutre transversale. La poutre transversale supporte un ensemble poulie à gorge qui vient en contact avec un câble d'un système d'ascenseur afin de faire monter et descendre la cabine d'ascenseur dans une gaine.
