An electrotransport device (200) for delivering a therapeutic agent through a body surface of a patient. The device has an electronic module (204) that can be coupled with a reservoir module (202) to form the electrotransport device. The reservoir module has a reservoir that contains the therapeutic agent for delivery through the body surface by electrotransport. The reservoir module also has a cutout (268) forming a channel (267) having a narrow channel portion and a less narrow channel portion with channel walls. The electronic module has.circuitry for electrically driving the therapeutic agent for electrotransport and having a body with a narrow portion and a less narrow portion corresponding to the narrow channel portion and the less narrow channel portion. The narrow portion of the electronic module can be guided into the.narrow channel portion through the less narrow channel portion of the reservoir module.
L'invention concerne un dispositif d'électrotransport (200) qui permet d'administrer un agent thérapeutique à travers la surface du corps d'un patient. Le dispositif de l'invention comprend un module électronique (204) qui peut être raccordé à un module de réservoir (202) afin que soit formé le dispositif d'électrotransport. Le module de réservoir comprend un réservoir contenant l'agent thérapeutique à administrer à travers la surface du corps par électrotransport. Le module de réservoir comprend également une partie découpée (268) formant une partie canal (267) présentant une partie canal étroite et une partie canal moins étroite ainsi que des parois de canal. Le module électronique comprend un ensemble de circuits permettant d'exciter l'agent thérapeutique pour l'électrotransport et un corps présentant une partie étroite et une partie moins étroite correspondant à la partie canal étroite et à la partie canal moins étroite. La partie étroite du module électronique peut être guidée dans la partie canal étroite au moyen de la partie canal moins étroite du module de réservoir.
