ABSTRACT In printing on continuous webs, it is known to employ a sequence of ink-image combinations to achieve the full image result. In the case of contiguous patterns printed on a continuous web, such patterns are often printed from the same printing plates repeatedly and frequently comprise products which are of standard widths. The invention concerns the use of laterally separated flexographic printing members in combination with multiple ink fountains for the purpose of improving productivity and efficiency of manufacture. -1-
