A multiple pole sub-feed (30) for a panel board (10) is disclosed. The sub-feed (30) of the present invention includes extension bus bars (42, 44, 46) which connect to the bus bars (18, 20, 22) of the panel board (10) and preferably linearly extend the length (1) of the subfeed (30). The subfeed (30) further includes bus connectors (60) supported generally perpendicular to the extension bus bars (42, 44, 46) and preferably extending the width (w) of the subfeed (30). The design allows for a plurality of poles of sub-feed (30) to be accommodated by adding bus connectors (60) to the end of the subfeed (30), where each bus connector (60) includes an opening (78, 80, 82) for electrically connecting to one of the extension bus bars (42, 44, 46). Current passes from the extension bus bars (42, 44, 46) to a metal retainer (76) connecting the bus connector (60) to the extension bus bars (42, 44, 46), to a current carrying strap in the bus connectors (60), to a current carrying spool located in a turret (84) on the bus connectors (60), and then to a circuit breaker positioned above the bus connector (60) about the turret (84).
