ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A multiple rate meter for totalizing electrical power usage from an alternating current supply, including a rotatable member which rotates at a speed proportional to the rate of power usage, and solid state circuitry which times the speed of the rotatable member versus the supply frequency. The electrical power usage is totalized in a first manner when the speed of the rotatable member is below a predetermined magnitude, and in a second manner when the speed reaches the predetermined magnitude.
