The invention concerns an installation constituting a railway propulsion chain, characterized in that it comprises, sequentially arranged, in the power electrical circuit, between a power transformer powered by a catenary and an electric motor of said vehicle, said catenary being capable of supplying a plurality of voltages, alternating or direct, said electrical circuit comprising a plurality of contact switches for selecting a given catenary voltage, at least one of the following elements: a controlled rectifier bridge (A1, A2), preferably a single-phase bridge with forced switching; a substantially reactive input filter (A3), preferably comprising at least a capacitance and/or at least an induction coil; a braking chopper capable of including also a clipping function (B); a multiphase and multilevel static converter (C1, C2, C3), preferably three-phase; electronic components, preferably IGBT power semiconductors for each element, each element belonging to at least an elementary power arm of the modular circuit diagram.
La présente invention se rapporte ô une installation constituant une chaîne de propulsion ferroviaire, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend, disposés en séquence, dans le circuit électrique de puissance, entre un transformateur de puissance alimenté par une caténaire et un moteur électrique dudit véhicule. ladite caténaire pouvant fournir une pluralité de tensions réseau, alternatives ou continues, ledit circuit électrique comprenant une pluralité de contacteurs pour la sélection d'une tension caténaire donnée, au moins les éléments suivants:- un pont redresseur commandé (A1,A2), de préférence un pont monophasé ô commutation forcée (PMCF);- un filtre d'entrée essentiellement réactif (A3), comprenant de préférence au moins une capacité et/ou au moins une self;- un hacheur de freinage pouvant avoir également une fonction d'écrêtage (B);- un onduleur multiphasé multi-niveaux (C1,C2,C3), de préférence triphasé;- des composants électroniques, de préférence des semi-conducteurs de puissance de type IGBT pour chaque élément, chaque élément appartenant ô au moins un bras de puissance élémentaire du schéma électrique modulaire.
