Optical telecommunications system, comprising: a station (1) for transmitting optical signals, comprising a transmission signal generator, capable of generating at least two signals at wavelengths lying within a band of predetermined width, and a multiplexer of the optical signals; a station for receiving the optical signals; and an optical fibre line connecting the said multiplexer of the transmission station to the receiving station. The optical fibre line includes at least one optical amplifier (7) comprising at least one fibre (12) doped with a rare earth, at least one source of pumping radiation (14) for the said doped fibre, and a gain stabilization circuit. The gain stabilization circuit comprises: a separator of the transmission signals from the spontaneous emission of the amplifier, for example an optical circulator with Bragg gratings to reject signal wavelengths connected after the doped fibre and capable of sending the transmission signals to the output of the amplifier and the spontaneous emission to a further output, and a loop circuit for the re-circulation of the said spontaneous emission collected from the said further output and re-injected before the said doped fibre of the amplifier.

L'invention concerne un système de télécommunication optique comprenant une station (1) destinée à la transmission de signaux optiques, comprenant un générateur de signaux de transmission capable de générer au moins deux signaux à des longueurs d'ondes se trouvant à l'intérieur d'une bande d'une largeur prédéterminée, et un multiplexeur des signaux optiques; une station destinée à recevoir les signaux optiques; et une ligne en fibre optique connectant ledit multiplexeur de la station de transmission à la station de réception. La ligne en fibre optique comprend au moins un amplificateur optique (7) comportant au moins une fibre (12) dopée avec une terre rare, au moins une source de pompage de rayonnement (14) pour ladite fibre dopée, et un circuit de stabilisation du gain. Le circuit de stabilisation du gain comprend un séparateur des signaux de transmission provenant de l'émission spontanée de l'amplificateur, par exemple un circulateur optique à réseaux de Bragg pour rejeter les longueurs d'ondes des signaux, connecté après la fibre dopée et capable d'envoyer les signaux de transmission à la sortie de l'amplificateur et l'émission spontanée à une autre sortie, ainsi qu'un circuit en boucle destiné à la recirculation de ladite émission spontanée collectée par ladite autre sortie et réinjectée avant ladite fibre dopée de l'amplificateur.
