An optical communication system (1) comprising: a first apparatus for supplying at least three optical signals, each having a predetermined wavelength selected from a first range of wavelengths .DELTA..lambda.; an optical transmission line (1000), optically connected to the said first apparatus, for the transmission of the said at least three optical signals, the said optical transmission line (1000) comprising in its turn: i. at least one optical amplification system (11) having a predetermined gain spectrum which, in the said first range of wavelengths .DELTA..lambda., has a maximum and a minimum gain (expressed in dB), the difference between the said maximum and minimum gain being .DELTA.Gtot; and ii. at least one filter (100), associated with the said at least one optical amplification system (11), and capable of attenuating the power of the said at least three optical signals according to a predetermined attenuation curve as a function of the wavelength, the said attenuation curve having, in the said first range of wavelengths .DELTA..lambda., a maximum and a minimum attenuation (expressed in dB), the difference between the said maximum and the said minimum being .DELTA.L; and a second apparatus for receiving the said at least three optical signals, characterized in that the said power of the said at least three optical signals is associated with a preselected pre-emphasis and the said .DELTA.L is at least 0.5 dB greater than the said .DELTA.Gtot.

La présente invention concerne un système de communication optique (1) comprenant: (A) un premier appareil pour fournir au moins trois signaux optiques présentant chacun une longueur d'onde prédéterminée sélectionnée dans une plage de longueur d'ondes .DELTA..lambda.; (B) une ligne de transmission optique (1000), reliée par voie optique audit premier appareil, utilisée pour transmettre lesdits trois signaux optiques, ladite ligne de transmission (1000) comprenant à son tour: (1) au moins un système d'amplification optique (11) présentant un spectre de gain prédéterminé qui, dans la première plage de longueurs d'ondes .DELTA..lambda., présente un gain maximal et un gain minimal (exprimés par dB), la différence entre ledit gain maximal et ledit gain minimal étant .DELTA.G¿tot?, et (2) au moins un filtre (100), associé audit système d'amplification optique (11), capable d'atténuer la puissance desdits trois signaux optiques selon une courbe d'atténuation prédéterminée fonction de la longueur d'onde, la courbe d'atténuation présentant, dans la première plage de longueurs d'ondes précitée .DELTA..lambda., une atténuation maximale et une atténuation minimale (exprimées par dB), la différence entre l'atténuation maximale et l'atténuation minimale étant .DELTA.L; et (C) un second appareil servant à recevoir lesdits trois signaux optiques, caractérisé en ce que la puissance desdits trois signaux optiques est associée à une préaccentuation présélectionnée, ledit .DELTA.L étant au moins à 0,5 dB supérieur audit .DELTA.G¿tot? .
