Microfluidics devices include a mulitplexed hydraulic valve activation device The actuator of a microfluidcs device houses a control channel to cause a non-volatile and low-material permeability liquid and an actuator The actuator is in communication with a control channel The control channel communicates with a fluid channel, such that fluid moves through the control channel and compresses the fluid channel The action of compressing the fluidic channel may move fluid through the fluid channel The device may also include a piston in communication with a control channel and an actuator The device can be coupled to a computer system, control software, imaging devices, an incubator, or a cell handling system.
