This invention relates to a multipole connector with filter means having a plurality of condensors corresponding to the number of signal lines to be connected, and in which each connector has a pin or socket, with each pin or each socket of the connector comprising a condensor having a first coating that is connected to the appropriate signal line, a second coating capable of being connected to ground and a dielectric layer interposed between the first and the second coat. In this type of multipole connector, the invention provides the improvement wherein there is provided at least one planar filter having connecting sites and being arranged adjacent to a row of the connecting pins or to a row of the connecting sockets. Each of the adjacently located connecting pins or each of the adjacently located connecting sockets are provided with a conductor connected to an appropriate connecting site of the planar filter. The planer filter has ground connection-producing edge regions and at least one of which is associated with a securing connector conductively connected with a connector casing. The improved arrangement results in filtering with high speed signal transfer.
