Abstract.- MULTIPOLE ELECTRIC CIRCUIT BREAKER WITH IMPROVED CURRENT LIMITING DEVICE Current limiting circuit breaker having a plurality of movable parallel contact arms vigorously moved in the open circuit position by electrodynamic repulsive forces at the appearance of a short-circuit current. The opening movement of one of said contact arms is limited by an abutment and the movement of the other contact arms is limited by a lost motion mechanical linkage connecting together said contact arms so as to delay the reclosure and to prevent a reclos- ing before tripping of the circuit breaker.
