PRÉCIS La présente invention se rapporte à un thermostat modulaire multifonctions comportant une unité de base et différents modules secondaires enfichables qui en modifient le fonctionnement. Typiquement, le module enfichable permet de transformer un thermostat régulier en thermostat programmable avec horloge ou en thermostat sensible au mouvement et à la lumière ou encore en thermostat commandé à distance. Alternativement, le module enfi- chable permet de déterminer, augmenter, restreindre, limiter ou permettre la fonctionnalité de l'unité de base et peut servir à son tour comme unité de base pour déservir toute autre unité externe.
