ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A multistandard camera is provided, wherein an analyser tube comprises a pair of metal plates to which is applied an alternating potential difference of a frequency at least twice as high as the maximum videofrequency and of an amplitude such that the interline space is scanned. The same tube thus allows 625-line scanning or 312.5-line scanning without there being any phenomenon of flickering of the image during 312.5-line analysis.
