Interfering RNA molecules are now designed and produced with specificity for multiple binding sequences present in distinct genetic contexts in one or more pre-selected target RNA molecules and are used to modulate expression of the target sequences. The multitargeting interfering RNA molecules have two strands that target multiple target sites on one or more pre-selected RNA molecules. Such a multitargeting interfering RNA approach provides a powerful tool for gene regulation.

L'invention concerne des molécules d'ARN interférent conçues et produites de manière spécifique pour de multiples séquences de liaison présentes dans différents contextes génétiques dans une ou plusieurs molécules d'ARN cibles présélectionnées, et utilisées pour moduler l'expression des séquences cibles. Les molécules d'ARN interférents de multiciblage comprennent deux brins ciblant de multiples sites cibles sur une ou plusieurs molécules d'ARN présélectionnées. Une telle approche de multiciblage par ARNs interférents permet d'obtenir un outil puissant de régulation génique.
