A portable power pack device includes a substantially planar rectangular first base section having opposed sides. A first engagement extends for a length of each of the opposed sides. A second base section is provided having opposed interior walls, which define a rectangular recess adapted to receive the first base section. A second engagement extends for a length of each of the opposed interior walls. A motor is mounted on either the first base section or the second base section. The motor has a power output coupling. An operating device, such as a pump, is mounted on the other of the first base section or the second base section. The operating device has a power input coupling. The power input coupling engages the power output coupling, when the first base section and the second base section are engaged.
