Disclosed are multibinding compounds which are agonists, partial agonists, inverse agonists or antagonists of the 5HT4 receptors, which are involved in gastrointestinal disorders. The multibinding compounds of this invention containing from 2 to 10 ligands covalently attached to one or more linkers. Each ligand is an agonist, partial agonist, inverse agonist or antagonist of the 5HT4 receptors. The multibinding compounds of this invention are useful for the prophylaxis and treatment of various gastrointestinal disorders, central nervous disorders, cardiac function disorders, urinary disorders, and the like, as well as useful anti-nociceptors for analgesic use. Gastrointestinal disorders that can be treated using the compounds of this invention include gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), gastroparesis, functional dyspepsia, and irritable bowel syndrome.

L'invention se rapporte à des composés à liaisons multiples qui sont des agonistes, des agonistes partiels, des agonistes inverses ou des antagonistes des récepteurs de 5HT¿4?, qui sont impliqués dans des troubles gastro-intestinaux. Les composés à liaisons multiples de cette invention contiennent 2 à 10 ligands liés par liaison covalente à une ou plusieurs séquences de liaison.
