An improved method for recovering the protein expressed by open reading frame 2 from porcine circovirus type 2 is provided. Also provided is recombinant PCV2 ORF2 protein, and immunogenic compositions comprising PCV2 ORF2 protein. Moreover, multivalent combination vaccines are provided which include an immunological agent effective for reducing the incidence of or lessening the severity of PCV2 infection, preferably PCV 2 ORF2 protein, or an immunogenic composition comprising PCV 2 ORF2 protein, and at least one immunogenic active component of another disease-causing organism in swine.
L'invention concerne un procédé amélioré de récupération de la protéine exprimée par un cadre ouvert de lecture 2 provenant de circovirus porcin de type 2. L'invention concerne également une protéine PCV2 ORF2 recombinante, et des compositions immunogènes comprenant une protéine PCV2 ORF2. L'invention concerne en outre une association de vaccins multivalents comprenant un agent immunologique efficace pour la réduction de l'incidence de la sévérité d'une infection PCV2, ou une diminution de celle-ci, de préférence une protéine PCV 2 ORF2, ou une composition immunogène comprenant une protéine PCV 2 ORF2, et au moins un composant actif immunogène d'un autre organisme pathogène chez le porc.
