A drug which can be used as a muscle relaxation accelerator, therapeutic agent for left ventricular diastolic dysfunction, therapeutic agent for angina pectoris, therapeutic agent for acute pulmonary edema, blood ameliorant for microcirculation system, therapeutic and preventive agent for hypertension, and therapeutic and preventive agent for ventricular tachycardia and Torsade de pointes. The drug is characterized by containing as an active ingredient either a 1,4-benzothiazepine derivative represented by the general formula [I]: [I] [wherein R1 represents hydrogen or C1-3 alkoxy; R2 represents hydrogen, C1-3 alkoxy, phenyl (provided that the phenyl may be substituted by one to three substituents selected from the group consisting of hydroxy and C1- 3 alkoxys), or a group represented by the formula [II] or [III] (wherein R3 represents C1-3 acyl); X represents -CO- or -CH2-; and n is 1 or 2] or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the derivative.
Médicament qui peut être utilisé comme accélérateur du relâchement des muscles, agent thérapeutique pour un dysfonctionnement diastolique ventriculaire gauche, agent thérapeutique pour l'angine de poitrine, agent thérapeutique pour l'oedème pulmonaire aigu, améliorant du sang pour le système de microcirculation, agent thérapeutique et préventif pour l'hypertension et agent thérapeutique et préventif pour la tachycardie ventriculaire et la torsade de pointes. Le médicament est caractérisé en ce qu'il contient comme ingrédient actif soit un dérivé de 1,4-benzothiazépine représenté par la formule générale [I] : [I] [dans laquelle R?1¿ représente un hydrogène ou un alcoxy en C¿1-3? ; R?2¿ représente un hydrogène, un alcoxy en C¿1-3?, un phényle (à condition que le phényle puisse être substitué par un à trois substituants choisis dans le groupe constitué d'un hydroxy et d'alcoxys en C¿1-3?) ou un groupe représenté par la formule [II] ou [III] (dans lesquelles R?3¿ représente un acyle en C¿1-3?) ; X représente -CO- ou -CH¿2?- ; et n est 1 ou 2] soit un sel acceptable du point de vue pharmaceutique du dérivé.
