The present invention provides for a beverage container adapter for releasable attachment to the bottom of the beverage container, the adapter being capable of playing a musical melody when activated. The adapter includes a top chamber of a size and shape to accept the bottom of a beverage container, the top chamber being formed from a side wall and an internal divider located within the adapter. The adapter also has a bottom chamber located below the top chamber, the bottom chamber being sealed against liquid infiltration and containing means for playing a musical melody upon activation. The bottom chamber is formed from the side wall and the internal divider of the adapter and a base haveing an upper and lower surface attached to the bottom of the adapter. The base is provided with an opening through which an activating means passes, the activation means having a contact surface for contact and activation of the means for playing the musical melody, the activating means being surrounded by an elastomeric sealing material which extends beyond the opening on either surface of the base surrounding the opening to seal the opening against infiltration of liquid into the lower chamber.
La présente invention porte sur un adaptateur à installer de façon non permanente sur le fond d'un contenant à boisson et capable de jouer une mélodie lorsqu'il est activé. L'adaptateur comprend un compartiment supérieur de dimension et de forme adaptées au fond du contenant à boisson et formé d'une paroi latérale et d'un séparateur situés à l'intérieur de l'adaptateur. L'adaptateur comporte également un compartiment inférieur étanche, situé sous le compartiment supérieur et contenant le mécanisme musical. Le compartiment inférieur est formé à partir de la paroi latérale et du séparateur interne de l'adaptateur ainsi que d'une base, à face supérieure et à face inférieure, fixée sur la partie inférieure de l'adaptateur. La base comporte une ouverture par laquelle passe un mécanisme d'activation muni d'une surface de contact en vue de l'activation du mécanisme musical. Le mécanisme d'activation est entouré d'un matériau d'étanchéisation élastomère qui s'étend au-delà de l'ouverture, jusque sur les deux faces de la base entourant l'ouverture en vue d'empêcher les infiltrations de liquide dans le compartiment inférieur.
