ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present specification discloses a musical candy, such as caramel, provided with a handle by which it is possible to make various musical notes in the manner of a plunger whistle. The whistle comprises a whistle body having a blowing mouthpiece, a whistle hole, an open central bore, and an adjustable plunger cooperating with the bore to adjust the pitch of the whistle when blown, said body being made of edible water-soluble solid candy, said bore in the body being lined at least partly by a non-candy fixed tube liner, and said plunger being movable within said liner. The fixed core can extend outside of the whistle body forming a fixed handle for the whistle.
