A good versus evil mythical game is provided herein. The good versus evil mythical board game includes the combination of a mythical game board and a plurality of game pieces for two players. The upper half of the game board comprises: a grid of 27 squares in a 9 column by 3 row configuration, with the lower row being a base row and the upper row being a contiguous row; a first upper row of 7 squares in a 1 by 7 configuration abutting the contiguous row; a second upper row of 5 squares in a 1 by 5 configuration abutting the first upper abutting row; a third upper row of 3 squares in a 1 by 3 configuration abutting the second upper abutting row; a fourth upper central apex square abutting the third upper abutting row; a middle square of the lower base row comprising a portal square; and the two lateral side walls of the grid of 27 squares in a 9 column by 3 row configuration comprising virtual bouncing walls as well as the two vertical walls of the portal square comprising virtual bouncing walls. The lower half of the board is the mirror image of the above-described half. The plurality of different game pieces for two players is such that each player has the following plurality of game pieces, namely: six Riders; two Griffins; two Wizards; two Gargoyles; two Phoenixes; and two Dragons, each having a unique shape but the game pieces of a first player being visually distinguishable being visually distinguishable from the game pieces of the opposing player (ie., being of a different colors) so as distinguish the players of one side (the good side) from the opposing side (the evil side). Each of the game pieces is originally disposed on the game board according to a predetermined arrangement. Each of the game pieces is capable of only predefined movements, predefined attack movements and predefined inability of attack movements. Certain game pieces may make moves by bouncing off the side walls even though the predefined moves would be restricted by the sides of the game board.
