Abstract of the Disclosure The compounds of the invention are N-(3,5-Dihalo- phenyl)-.alpha.-spirocycloalkanesuccinimides of the formula: Image wherein X represents a chlorine or bromine atom and R rep- resents a C3-C6 alkylene group. These compounds show high fungicidal activities without any significant toxicity to mammals and plants and can be produced by reacting the cor- responding .alpha.-spirocycloalkanesuccinic acid, or its anhydride, with 3,5-dichloroaniline or 3,5-dibromoaniline. The compounds can thus be used as agricultural fungicides by applying the compounds alone or in admixture with conventional diluents or carriers etc.
