PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation des composés de formule I: (x)n-Ar-CH2-NR1-COR2 (I) où X représente F, CF3, OCF3 ou SCF3, R1 et R2 identiques ou différents représentent un hydrogène, un radical alkyle ayant de l à 6 atomes de carbone, un radical phényle ou un radical phényle substitué, n est égal à 1, 2 ou 3 et Ar représente le radical phénylène ou un radical phénylène substitué, R1 et R2 pouvant être liés pour former un cycle; selon lequel on fait réagir en présence d'acide fluorhydrique un composé de formule: (X)n-Ar-H (II) avec un composé de formule: OH-CH2-NR-COR2 (III) où X, n, Ar, R1 et R2 ont la signification précédente. L'in- vention concerne également les nouveaux amides N-benzylfluorés ainsi obtenus. Ces nouveaux amides N-benzylfluorés sont notamment utiles à titre d'intermédiaire réactionnel afin d'obtenir d'autre intermédiaires tels que les phénylacéto- nitriles qui sont eux mêmes des intermédiaires dans la syn- thèse de nombreux composés à activité phytosanitaire ou pharmaceutique.
