Abstract of the Disclosure The invention relates to compounds of the formula: Image wherein R1 is a C4-C7 tertiary alkyl group, X is a halogen atom, R2 is a methyl group or an ethyl group, R3 is a methyl group or an ethyl group, or when R2 and R3 are taken together, they represent a C2-C5 alkylene group, and Y and Z, which may be same or differ- ent, are each a hydrogen atcm, a halogen atom, a methyl group or a methoxy group. These compounds are useful herbicides with little phytotoxicity to crop plants.
