ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE N-chlorothio ureas are produced by the reaction of sulfur dichloride and a urea having at least one hydrogen substituted on a urea nitrogen atom in the presence of an acid acceptor. The N-chlorothio ureas are useful intermedi- ates in the preparation of pesticides.
