Abstract of the Disclosure Image wherein R is 3-pyridyl, 2-furyl, 2-naphthyl, cinnamenyl, benzyl, phenyl or phenyl substituted by 3- or 4-nitro, 4-halo, 4-axino, 4-(lower)alkoxy, 4- (lower)alkyl, 2-methyl, 2,3-dimethyl, 2,4,6-trimethyl, 3-trifluoromethyl, 4-cyano, 4-phenyl, or 3-phenoxy are disclosed. They are prepared by reacting the corresponding dichlorophosphinyl compounds with ammonia. The products are useful as inhibitors of the enzyme urease.
