Novel N-hydroxyamide derivatives are disclosed. These N-hydroxyamide derivatives inhibit UPD-3O-(R-3-hydroxymyristoyl)-N-acetylglucosamine deacetylase, an enzyme present in gram negative bacteria and are therefore useful as antimicrobials and antibiotics. Methods of synthesis and of use of the compounds are also disclosed.
La présente invention concerne de nouveaux dérivés de N-hydroxyamide. Ces dérivés de N-hydroxyamide inhibent la UPD-3<i>O</i>-(R-3-hydroxymyristoyle)-N-acétylglucosamine désacétylase, une enzyme présente dans les bactéries Gram négatif, et sont ainsi utiles comme agents anti-microbiens ou antibiotiques. L'invention a également pour objet des procédés de synthèse et d'utilisation de ces composés.
