ABSTRACT N,N'-disubstituted sulfonyl hydrazines with the following structural formula are disclosed: R(S02NR1NHR2)n R3(00CNS02RNHR2)2, R3(00CNHNRlS02R)2, R4(NHOCNS02RNHR2)2, and R4(NH0CNHNR1S02R)2 wherein the R1 is -C0NHR4 and R2 is -C00R3. These novel compounds are useful as high temperature blowing agents for gas-expandable polymers.
