N-Sulphenylated hydantoins, a process for their prepara- tion and their use as microbicides Abstract The new hydantoins of the formula Image in which R1 denotes an optionally substituted alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl or aralkyl radical and R2 and R3 are identical or different and de- note hydrogen, alkyl or alkenyl or are linked to form a cycloalkyl radical, can be prepared by reacting a corresponding hydantoin with dichlorofluoromethanesulphenyl chloride. The new compounds can be used as active compounds in microbicidal agents.
