ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An N-sulphonamidoethyl-indole of the formula Image in which R1 represents hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, halogen, trifluoromethyl, trifluoromethoxy, trifluoromethylthio, difluoromethoxy, aryl, arylthio, aralkyl, aralkoxy, aralkylthio, acyl or a group of the formula Image in which R5 and R6 are identical or different and denote hydrogen, alkyl, aryl, aralkyl or acyl, and R3 represents hydrogen, alkyl, aryl, pyridyl, thienyl or furyl, and R4 represents hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, halogen, trifluoromethyl, trifluoromethoxy, trifluoromethylthio, aryl, aryloxy, arylthio, aralkyl, aralkoxy, aralkylthio, acyl or a group of the formula Image in which R7 and R8 are identical or different and denote hydrogen, alkyl, aryl, aralkyl or acyl, R9 represents hydrogen, Image or a pharmacologically acceptable salt of Image , and R2 represents hydrogen, alkyl or aryl. The compounds where R9 is Image or a salt thereof inhibit the aggregation of thrombocytes.
