Methods and systems herein provide for flexible formatting of print jobs and their associated logical pages. One N-up printing system is adapted to receive a print job from a host system for printing to a tangible medium. The print job in-cludes at least a first logical page. The printing system includes an N-up formatter interface adapted to receive formatting pa-rameters. The printing system also includes an N-up formatter that is communicatively coupled to the N-up formatter inter-face. The N-up formatter is adapted to generate a first page in-clusion object based on the formatting parameters. The N-up formatter is further adapted to input the first logical page to the first page inclusion object and position the first logical page within the first page inclusion object.
L'invention porte sur des procédés et des systèmes pour fournir un formatage flexible de tâches d'impression et de leurs pages logiques associées. Un système d'impression de plusieurs pages par feuille (« N-up ») est apte à recevoir une tâche d'impression à partir d'un système hôte, pour une impression sur un support tangible.
