-8- NAIL CLIPPER ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A nail clipper has jaws connected at one end and with cutting edges at the other. The jaws are actuated by a forwardly positioned lever so that in use, the device is held in the palm of the hand and the forward lever is operated by the thumb, thus providing enhanced control over the cutting action. The embodiment described herein also has means for retention therein of the clippings for later disposal.
