An improvement to a tool as defined in Claim 1, whereas the dome (ie: prism) incorporates one or more shallow slots on the uppermost part in the shape of the letter "T" and/or the figure "+" into which the head and shaft of a nail is inserted, thus holding the nail in position. The purpose of the slots is to eliminate the need for the operator to require his other hand when starting a nail.
