A naked collation package (1, 21, 31, 41, 51) comprising a plurality of individual units (2, 32, 52) laid end-to-end or side-by-side to form a unit row comprising at least one interface (3, 33, 63) between a neighbouring pair of individual units in the unit row; the unit row being overwrapped with a sheet of polymeric film having' a length and a width; the length of the sheet being sufficient to envelop the unit row with sufficient overlap between the ends of the sheet to provide an overlap region for providing a girth seal along at least part of the length of the unit row, the sheet being sealed to itself in that region to provide the girth seal; the width of the sheet being: longer than the unit row to provide an envelope seal region in at least one end of the unit row, the sheet being folded and sealed to itself in that region to provide the envelope seal; or not substantially longer than the unit row; the sheet being provided along its length, or part or parts of it, with a line of weakness (6, 36, 56) positioned in substantial register with the interface.
L'invention concerne un emballage d'assemblage à nu (1, 21, 31, 41, 51) comprenant plusieurs unités individuelles (2, 32, 52) posées bout à bout ou cote à cote pour former une rangée d'unités comprenant au moins une interface (3, 33, 63) entre une paire d'unités individuelles voisines dans la rangée d'unités; la rangée d'unité étant enveloppée d'une feuille de film polymère ayant une longueur et une largeur; la longueur de la feuille étant suffisante pour envelopper la rangée d'unités avec un chevauchement suffisant entre les extrémités de la feuille pour prévoir une zone de chevauchement pour fournir un joint périphérique le long d'au moins une partie de la longueur de la rangée d'unités; la feuille étant collée à elle-même dans ladite zone pour fournir le joint périphérique; la largeur de la feuille étant : plus longue que la rangée d'unités pour fournir une zone d'étanchéité d'enveloppe dans au moins une extrémité de la rangée d'unités, la feuille étant pliée et collée à elle-même dans cette zone pour fournir le joint d'enveloppe; ou guère sensiblement plus longue que la rangée d'unités; la feuille étant fournie sur sa longueur ou sur une ou plusieurs parties de celle-ci, avec une ligne de faiblesse (6, 36, 56) placée dans un registre important avec l'interface.
