A method of Nanoparticle-based therapy for a mammalian subject is disclosed. The method uses Nanoparticles and/or Nanoparticles with outer surfaces that contain an affinity moiety effective to bind specifically to a biological surface at which the therapy is aimed, and a hydrophilic polymer coating. The hydrophilic polymer coating is made up of polymer chains either covalently linked or surface adsorbed to the polymer components. After a desired Nanoparticle biodistribution is achieved, the affinity agent binds to the target surface and helps internalize the Nanoparticles

Cette invention concerne une thérapie à base de nanoparticules pour un sujet mammifère. La méthode consiste à utiliser des nanoparticules et/ou des nanoparticules dont les surfaces extérieures contiennent une fraction d'affinité efficace pour permettre une liaison spécifique à une surface biologique ciblée par la thérapie, et un enrobage polymère hydrophile. L'enrobage polymère hydrophile est réalisé à partir de chaînes polymères qui sont soit reliées par covalence, soit absorbées en surface sur les composants polymères. Après une biorépartition des nanoparticules souhaitée, l'agent d'affinité se lie à la surface cible et il favorise la pénétration des nanoparticules.
