Nanopowder synthesis systems in which a pulsed magnetic field is applied to electrodes of precursor material, in close proximity to an electrical discharge arc that is formed between the electrodes, to attain increased yields of nanopowder. A magnet insert of a coating precursor material is used to coat the nanopowder and thereby reduce nanoparticle agglomeration.

L'invention concerne des systèmes de synthèse de nanopoudre dans lesquels un champ magnétique pulsé est appliqué sur des électrodes faites d'un matériau précurseur, près d'un arc de décharge électrique formé entre les électrodes, afin d'atteindre des productions supérieures de nanopoudre. Un insert magnétique fait d'un matériau précurseur de revêtement est utilisé pour recouvrir la nanopoudre et ainsi réduire l'agglomération des nanoparticules.
