A system and method for supplying electricity for use with a host device (50). The system includes a structure (20) and an interface (30). The structure includes an array of single-walled carbon nanotubes (22) arranged with respect to a matrix (21). In operation, the system receives a force stimulus for facilitating piezoelectric generation of electricity. In particular, the array receives the force and piezoelectrically generates electricity therefrom. The array is electrically coupled with the interface. The interface allows the structure to supply electricity to electrical devices that are coupled to the interface.
L'invention concerne un système et un procédé pour l'alimentation électrique, susceptibles d'être utilisés avec un dispositif hôte. Le système comprend une structure et une interface. La structure comporte une rangée de nanotubes en carbone à paroi unique disposés par rapport à une matrice. En fonctionnement, le système reçoit un stimulus de force facilitant la production piézo-électrique d'électricité. Spécifiquement, la rangée reçoit la force et produit de l'électricité de type piézo-électrique à partir de ce stimulus. Un couplage électrique est établi entre la rangée et l'interface.
