Naphthalene derivatives of the formula [I]: (see fig. I) wherein R 1 and R 2 are the same or different and are hydrogen atom, hydroxy group, cyclo-lower alkyloxy group, substituted or unsubstituted lower alkoxy group, or R 1 and R 2 together form a lower alkylenedioxy group, R 3 is substituted or unsubstituted nitrogen-containing 6- membered heterocyclic group, and groups of the formulae: -OR 4 and -OR 5 are the same or different and are protected or unprotected hydroxy group, processes for preparing thereof, and synthetic intermediates therefor. These compounds have excellent bronchodilating activity, and are useful in the prophylaxis and treatment of asthma.

Dérivés de naphtalène de formule (I) (voir fig. I) - où R1 et R2 sont les mêmes ou différents, soit un atome d'hydrogène, un groupe hydroxy, cycloalkyl(inf.)oxy, alcoxy inf. avec ou sans substitution, ou encore R1 et R2 forment ensemble un groupe alkylène(inf.)dioxy, R3 est un groupe hétérocyclique azoté à six chaînons avec ou sans substitution, -OR4 et -OR5 sont identiques ou différents, soit des groupes hydroxy protégés ou non -; méthodes pour les préparer et intermédiaires synthétiques à cette fin. Ces composés ont une excellente action de bronchodilatation et sont utiles pour la prévention et le traitement de l'asthme.
