A B S T R A C T Naphthalenone phthalazinylhydrazones of the formula: Image I are disclosed. In the above formula R1 is hydrogen or alkyl, R2 is alkyl, preferably branched alkyl, or N, R1 and R2 taken together forming a heterocyclic ring. There compounds are useful as antihypertensive agents.
