A compound of general formula (I) wherein R1 is formula (II) or formula (III), R is selected from any of hydrogen, lower alkyl (C1-C6), aralkyl (C6-C10), substituted aralkyl (C6-C10) (where the phenyl substituents are alkyl (C1-C8), branched alkyl (C3-C8), halo, perfluoro(lower alkyl), hydroxy, lower alkoxy, di(lower alkyl) amino, lower alkoxycarbonyl or lower alkylthio), phenyl, substituted phenyl (where the substituents are alkyl (C1-C8), branched alkyl (C3-C8), halo, perfluoro(lower alkyl), hydroxy, lower alkoxy, di(lower alkyl) amino, lower alkoxycarbonyl or lower alkylthio), (CH2)nOR4, (CH2)nNR2R3; Ar is selected from any of phenyl and substituted phenyl (where the phenyl substituents are alkyl (C1-C8), branched alkyl (C3-C8), halo, perfluoro(lower alkyl), hydroxy, lower alkoxy, di(lower alkyl) amino, mono(lower alkyl) amino, lower alkoxycarbonyl and lower alkylthio); a heterocycle where the heterocycle is selected from any of pyridine, thiazole, thiophene, furan, indole, pyridazine, pyrimidine, indoline, imidazole, triazine, pyrazine, isoxazole, thiadiazole, triazole and a substituted heterocycle where the substituents are selected from one or more of halo, perfluoro(lower alkyl), nitro, lower alkylthio, lower alkoxy, lower alkyl, di(lower alkyl) amino, carboxy, lower alkoxycarbonyl, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate, hydrate, tautomer or rotomer thereof, is disclosed as useful in treating disorders of the central nervous system. Pharmaceutical compositions, processes for preparing the compounds and methods of treatment are also disclosed.

Ces composés de la formule générale (I) sont efficaces dans le traitement de troubles du système nerveux central. On décrit aussi des compositions pharmaceutiques, des procédés de préparation desdits composés et des méthodes de traitement.
