The invention relates to compounds of the general formula (I): (see Fig. I) wherein: R represents a hydrogen atom or a group -O-R4 in which R4 is a hydrogen atom or group, substituted or unsubstituted, selected from the group consisting of alkyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkylalkyl, phenyl, phenylalkyl, and diphenylalkyl; R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a group -CO-O-R5 in which R5 is a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group; R2 represents a hydrogen atom or a group -R'2 where R'2 represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group; R3 represents a group (see Fig. II), in which n represents 0 or an integer from 1 to 3, and R6 represents a hydrogen atom, or a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, alkene, cycloalkyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group, selected from the group consisting of pyrrolidine, piperidine, piperazine, homopiperidine, homopiperazine, morpholine, and thiomorpholine; a group (see Fig. III) in which X represents an oxygen or sulphur atom, n' represents 0 or a whole number from 1 to 3, and R7 represents an alkyl group, substituted alkyl, cycloalkyl, substituted cycloalkyl, phenyl, or substituted phenyl, provided that if: R represents an alkoxy group, R represents a hydrogen atom and R3 represents a group -CO-R8, in which R8 represents a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, or halogen substituted methyl or propyl group, or if R3 represents a group (see Fig. IV), in which X, n', and R7 are as defined above, then R1 cannot be a hydrogen atom, their optical isomers and their addition salts with a pharmaceutically acceptable base, provided that, unless indicated otherwise: the term "substituted" means that the groups to which it refers can be substituted with one or more groups selected from the group consisting of halogen, alkyl (C1-C4), alkoxy (C1-C4), phenyl and phenylalkyl, where the phenyl rings themselves may be substituted with one or more halogen, alkyl (C1-C4), alkoxy (C1-C4), hydroxyl or trifluoromethyl groups; the term "alkyl" means a group comprising a linear or branched chain 1 to 6 carbon atoms ; the term "alkene" means a group comprising a linear or branched chain of 2 to 6 carbon atoms; the term "cycloalkyl" means a group comprising 3 to 10 carbon atoms, mono- or bi-cyclic, saturated or unsaturated, their optical isomers, and their addition salts with a pharmaceutically acceptable base. Medicaments useful in the treatment of disorders associated with abnormal melatonin activity in the organism, and in the treatment of disorders of the central nervous system, immune system and endocrine system.
L'invention concerne les composés de formule générale (I): (voir fig. I) dans laquelle: R représente un atome d'hydrogène ou un groupement -O-R4 dans lequel R4 signifie un atome d'hydrogène ou un groupement, substitué ou non substitué, choisi parmi alkyle, cycloalkyle, cycloalkylalkyle, phényle, phénylalkyle, et diphénylalkyle, R1 représente un atome d'hydrogène ou un groupement -CO-O-R5 dans lequel R5 signifie un atome d'hydrogène ou un groupement alkyle substitué ou non substitué, R2 représente un atome d'hydrogène ou un groupement -R'2 avec R'2 représentant un radical alkyle ou alkyle substitué, représente: R3 - un groupement (voir fig. II), dans lequel n représente 0 ou un nombre entier de 1 à 3, et R6 représente un atome d'hydrogène, ou un groupement alkyle, alkyle substitué, alcène, alcène substitué, cycloalkyle, cycloalkyle substitué, ou un groupement hétérocyclique, substitué ou non substitué, choisi parmi: pyrrolidine, pipéridine, pipérazine, homopipéridine, homopipérazine morpholine, et thiomorpholine; - un groupement (voir fig. III) dans lequel X représente un atome d'oxygène ou de soufre, n' représente 0 ou un nombre entier de 1 à 3, et R7 représente un groupement alkyle, alkyle substitué, cycloalkyle, cycloalkyle substitué, phényle, ou phényle substitué, étant entendu que si: - R représente un groupement alcoxy, - R représente un atome d'hydrogène et R3 représente un groupement -CO-R8, dans lequel R8 représente un atome d'hydrogène, un groupement méthyle, ou propyle substitué par un halogène, -ou si R3 représente un groupement (voir fig.IV), dans lequel X, n', et R7 sont tels que définis précédemment, alors R1 ne peut pas être un atome d'hydrogène, leur isomères optiques et leurs sels d'addition à une base pharmaceutiquement acceptable, étant entendu que, sauf précisions contraires, - le terme "substitué" signifie que les groupements auxquels il se rapporte peuvent être substitués par un ou plusieurs radicaux choisis parmi halogène, alkyle (C1-C4), alcoxy (C1-C4), phényle, et phénylalkyle, les noyaux phényles pouvant eux-mêmes être substitués par un ou plusieurs radicaux halogène, alkyle (C1-C4), alcoxy (C1-C4), hydroxyle, ou trifluorométhyle, - le terme "alkyle" signifie un groupement comportant de 1 à 6 atomes de carbone en chaîne droite ou ramifiée, - le terme "alcène" signifie un groupement comportant de 2 à 6 atomes de carbone en chaîne droite ou ramifiée, - le terme "cycloalkyle" signifie un groupement contenant de 3 à 10 atomes de carbone, mono- ou bi-cyclique, saturé ou insaturé, leurs isomères optiques, et leurs sels d'addition à une base pharmaceutiquement acceptable. Médicaments utiles notamment dans le traitement des troubles liés à une activité anormale de la mélatonine dans l'organisme, ainsi que dans le traitement des troubles du système nerveux central, du système immunitaire, et du système endocrinien.
