ABSTRACT A napkin holder is disclosed comprising a freestanding base (4) and spaced apart vertical wall members (6,8) which define a channel (18) therebetween for receipt of a vertical stack of napkins. The wall members comprise intersecting first and second panels (10,12 and 14,16) which form an obtuse angle such that the stack of napkins in the channel form an obtuse angle and remain in an upright condition.
